South African Citizens

Appointment line for Passports (Child passports applications MUST be made by post ONLY), Birth Registrations, Retention of RSA Citizenship and Exemption from Loss of RSA Citizenship is 09065 540 799.

To: Applicants who cannot obtain suitable appointment for passport applications

  • Fingerprint service is provided by the office between 3 PM & 4 PM Monday to Friday. NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED.
  • Only BI 73 & BI 9 forms will be taken in for the opening of the file. The other supporting documents MUST be posted to this office by special delivery post as a matter of urgency.
  • Failure to send the requested supporting documents will result in your application not being processed.
  • Special delivery post MUST be used for sending supporting documents for passport application to the office.

The Administration section at the High Commission deals with a variety of issues, amongst which are Legalisation of documents, Police Clearance and information concerning Driving Licences.
